Iced Chai Latte

Spiced, refreshing and effortlessly cool, this Iced Chai Latte is the perfect drink for when you want the cosy warmth of chai with the chill of an iced beverage. With aromatic spices, creamy milk and a touch of sweetness, it’s a deliciously balanced drink that brings café-style indulgence to your own kitchen – no fancy equipment needed.

The base of the latte is a strong brewed chai tea, infused with warming spices like cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, and cloves. Once steeped, it’s lightly sweetened – with honey, maple syrup or your favourite alternative – then poured over ice and topped with cold milk for a refreshing finish. The result is a beautifully layered drink that’s both energising and comforting, with a gentle spice that lingers on the palate.

It’s easy to customise too: use your milk of choice (oat, almond, or coconut all work beautifully), add a splash of vanilla for extra warmth, or make it stronger by doubling the chai. You can also batch-brew the tea ahead of time and keep it chilled in the fridge, so you’re always just a minute away from the perfect iced pick-me-up.

This Iced Chai Latte is great for sunny mornings, afternoon slumps, or when you’re craving something flavourful without the heaviness of a hot drink. Naturally caffeine-free if made with herbal chai, or gently energising if made with black tea, it’s a flexible recipe that suits all tastes and times of day.

Fragrant, creamy and full of personality, this Iced Chai Latte is your new go-to for spiced refreshment – whether you’re sipping solo or serving up something special for guests.
