Iced Strawberry Matcha Latte

Refreshing, vibrant and a little bit indulgent, this Iced Strawberry Matcha Latte is the perfect drink for when you want something cool, colourful and full of feel-good flavour. With layers of sweet strawberry purée, creamy milk, and earthy matcha, it’s as beautiful to look at as it is delicious to sip.

This recipe brings together the natural sweetness of ripe strawberries with the smooth, slightly grassy flavour of high-quality matcha green tea. The combination is both striking and well balanced – the fruitiness of the berries softens the boldness of the matcha, while the milk (dairy or plant-based) adds a silky richness that ties it all together.

The strawberry layer is made from fresh or frozen strawberries, lightly sweetened and blended into a thick purée. You can prepare it ahead of time and keep it chilled, making this drink perfect for sunny mornings, afternoon pick-me-ups, or impressing guests with something a little different. The matcha is whisked until frothy, then gently poured over the milk and strawberries to create that beautiful layered effect.

Best served over plenty of ice in a tall glass, this drink is not only refreshing but also packed with antioxidants from the matcha and vitamin C from the strawberries – a sweet treat with a bit of goodness behind it. You can also customise it easily: adjust the sweetness, try it with oat or almond milk, or even add a splash of vanilla for an extra twist.

Whether you’re new to matcha or already a fan, this Iced Strawberry Matcha Latte is a playful, summery drink that delivers both on taste and aesthetics. Cool, creamy, and completely satisfying – it’s your new go-to for sipping in style.
