This Privacy Policy applies to any website, application, feature, platform or other online service that is owned or controlled by Instant Brands (EMEA) Limited or Instant Brands (Ireland) Limited, or their affiliates, subsidiaries, successors, sub-licensees or assigns (collectively, “Instant Pot Brands” or “we” or “our”) including https://instantpot.co.uk and https://instantpot.eu (collectively the “Site”) or our mobile application (“app”). This Privacy Policy outlines the personal information Instant Pot Brands will collect when you visit our Site, app, or interact with us offline, how we will collect, use and share that information, and your choices and data rights.
PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT
The personal information we collect may be provided to us by you or by a third party or may be collected automatically. When you create an account, contact us, make a purchase or otherwise interact with Instant Pot Brands, the Site, or the app, we may collect information about you, meaning there is a likelihood that you could be identified through the use of that information, either alone or in combination with other information (“Personal Information”). The following are the categories and specific types of Personal Information that we may collect:
Basic Identifying Information Including your full name, alias, postal address, e-mail address, phone number, date of birth, account name, username, social media handle, or other similar identifiers.
Device Information and Other Unique Identifiers Including device identifier, internet protocol (IP) address, information obtained via cookies, beacons, or pixel tags, mobile ad identifier, or similar unique identifiers.
Internet or Other Network Activity Including browsing or search history and information regarding your interactions with our Site, emails, or advertisements.
Geolocation Data Including information that permits us to determine your location, such as if you manually provide location information to provide you with the services.
Payment Information Including credit or debit card numbers.
Commercial Information Including products or services you have purchased, returned, exchanged, or considered; preferences; and rewards activity related to our membership program.
Demographic Data Including age, gender, race, ethnicity, estimated income, and household information, some of which may include characteristics of protected classifications under applicable privacy law.
User Content Including your communications with us and any other content you provide (such as social media profiles, photographs, images, videos, survey responses, comments, product reviews, testimonials, and other content).
Audio and Visual Information Including photographs, images, videos, and recordings of your voice (such as when we record customer service calls for quality assurance).
We may take your Personal Information and de-identify it to make it non-personally identifiable, either by aggregating it with information about other individuals and/or by hashing the information (such as converting it to a code) or otherwise removing characteristics that make the information personally identifiable directly to you. We maintain and use de-identified data without attempting to re-identify it, except where permitted by applicable law, such as to determine whether our de-identification processes satisfy legal requirements.
We will treat de-identified information as non-personal to the fullest extent allowed by applicable law. However, if we combine information, we consider it to be non-personal with Personal Information, we will treat that combined information as Personal Information under this Privacy Policy.
Children: Our Site and app are intended for a general audience and are not intended for use by or targeted to minors younger than the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from minors younger than the age of 18. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected Personal Information from a user who is younger than age 18, we will delete that information from our active databases.
HOW WE COLLECT YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
Information You Provide Directly
We may ask you to provide Personal Information to us when you use the Site or the app. For example, you may give us Personal Information when making a purchase, creating an account, connecting products to our apps, posting photos, videos and other content on our Site, leaving product reviews, joining our affiliate program, and interacting with customer service.
Using Online Tracking Technologies and Other Automatic Data Collection Technologies
When you visit our Site, open or click on emails we send you, or interact with our advertisements, we or third parties we work with automatically collect certain information using online tracking technologies such as pixels, web beacons, software developer kits, third-party libraries, and cookies. Other Technologies
We record customer service calls and maintain a transcript of chats whether you are speaking with our customer service or chatting with the chatbot on our Site. We use this information for quality control.
Community Forums and User Submission
The Site may provide you the opportunity to submit information to us through interactive features, and through other communication functionality (“Community Forums”). You may choose, through such features or otherwise, to submit or post “User Submissions”, which means any and all information and content that you submit or post to the Site, including, without limitation, photos, audio, video, messages, text, files, or other content you submit using the Community Forums and subject to our Terms and Conditions available here: https://instantpot.eu/en/terms-and-conditions/. Some features, such as product reviews and the ability to post photos or videos to the Site, may be operated by a third party and your postings also may be subject to the third party’s privacy policy and terms of use.
Please note that certain information, may be publicly displayed on the Site along with your User Submissions, however, you will be able to control the disclosure. Note that anything you submit through a public-facing Community Forum may be made public – others could have access to your User Submission and may use it or share it with third parties anywhere in the world. We are not responsible for the actions of third parties, and the use of your Personal Information and other User Submissions by such third parties is not subject to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

Social Networking Features
Functionality on the Site may permit interactions that you initiate between the Site and a third-party social networking service such as Facebook or Instagram (“Social Networking Features”). Examples of Social Networking Features include enabling you to “like” or “share” content from the Site or to “like” or “share” our page on a third-party service; to selectively share your social media posts on the Site; and to otherwise connect the Site to a third-party service. If you choose to share content or to otherwise post information through the Site to a third-party service, or vice versa, that information may be publicly displayed. Similarly, as permitted by applicable law, if you post information on a third-party service that references us (for example, by using a hashtag associated with us in your post), your post may be published on the Site or otherwise in accordance with the terms of that third party. Certain posts to or from social media may be User Submissions.
COOKIES AND ONLINE TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES
We and our third–party partners and service providers (such as advertising networks, analytics providers and social media platforms and networks) may use pixels, web beacons, software developer kits, third–party libraries, cookies, and other similar online tracking technologies (collectively, “online tracking technologies”) to gather information when you interact with our Site, or email communications. Some online tracking technologies help us maintain the security of our Site and your account, prevent crashes, fix bugs, save your preferences, and assist with basic site functions.
Our Preference Center provides information about how we use online tracking technologies, such as cookies, pixels, etc. for targeted advertising and analytical purposes.
For our EEA, UK, or Swiss residents, we provide consent management tools that allow you to control the use of these online tracking technologies. Where prohibited by applicable law, we do not place online tracking technologies on your device without your consent.
OUR USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
Depending on the nature of your relationship with us and your interactions with the Site, and subject to applicable law, we may collect and use your Personal Information to:

Our Employees
Your Personal Information will be accessible to our employees who need to access or use it to perform their jobs, including members of our customer care, order fulfilment, and compliance department teams.
Sweepstakes, Contests, & Promotions
We may offer sweepstakes, contests, and other promotions (any, a “Promotion”), which would be governed by their own terms and conditions. If you choose to enter a Promotion, your Personal Information, as disclosed in the terms and conditions, would be collected and processed in accordance with this Privacy Policy and the applicable terms and conditions.
Service Providers Providing Services on Our Behalf
We may use service providers to perform certain services on our behalf, such as hosting the Site features, delivering packages, processing credit card payments, processing transactions and fulfilling orders, providing customer service, providing website usage analytics, serving targeted advertising, sending email, direct mail or other communications, providing marketing assistance and data analysis or enhancement, or performing other administrative services. We may give these service providers access to your Personal Information so that they can carry out the services they are performing for Instant Pot Brands, such as payment processing, fulfilment of orders, etc. In such circumstances, we will ensure that service providers are contractually restricted from processing your Personal Information for any other purposes.

When You Agree to Receive Information from Third Parties or Our Affiliated Companies, or Request That We Share Your Information

Business Transfers and Transitions
In the event Instant Pot Brands goes through a potential or actual transition (such as a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, asset sale or other commercial transaction), your Personal Information may be transferred or disclosed to third parties as part of that process, including during due diligence and/or following completion of the transaction. By providing your Personal Information, you confirm your understanding that we may transfer or disclose such information to the acquiring entity without your consent.
Administrative and Legal Reasons
Instant Pot Brands reserves the right to use or disclose any Personal Information as needed to satisfy any law, regulation or legal request; to protect the integrity of the Site; to fulfill your requests; to cooperate in any law enforcement investigation, an investigation on a public safety matter, or an investigation into claims of intellectual-property infringement; to protect and defend the legal rights or property of Instant Pot Brands, our parent company, affiliates and shareholders, any Site or its users, or any other party; or, in an emergency, to protect the health and safety of our users or the general public. THIRD PARTY LINKS & CONTENT
The Site may incorporate or link to other websites, advertising or content that is hosted and served by third parties over which we have no control, and which are governed by the privacy policies and business practices of those third parties. The Site may also integrate features offered by third parties, and those may allow you to sync our products with third party services and applications. Instant Pot Brands is not responsible for the privacy practices or business practices of any third party.
SECURITY
We employ commercially reasonable security methods and technologies to help secure your Personal Information, including physical, technological, and organizational protections. However, no Site or system can be guaranteed 100% secure. We therefore cannot ensure or warrant the security of any Personal Information that you transmit to us, or that we transmit to you, or guarantee that it will be free from unauthorized access or use by third parties. You use the Site and provide us with your Personal Information at your own initiative and risk.
JURISDICTION AND CROSS BORDER TRANSFER
Instant Pot Brands is a United States company. Please be aware that Personal Information we collect will be collected, processed, and stored in the United States and may be further transferred, including to other jurisdictions. By using the Services, or providing us with any Personal Information, you indicate that you fully understand and acknowledge this collection, processing, storage, and transfer of your Personal Information in the United States and other jurisdictions, for which the privacy laws may not be as comprehensive as those in the country or jurisdiction where you reside and/or are a citizen. Where required by applicable law, we will ensure that any transfers of Personal Information are appropriately safeguarded (for example, using model clauses approved by appropriate statutory authorities for this purpose). MARKETING PREFERENCES – TEXT AND EMAIL
We obtain your opt-in consent to send you marketing communications. If you wish to opt out of receiving marketing email messages that we send to you, you can unsubscribe through the opt-out mechanism included in each marketing email we send to you. Note that we reserve the right to send you certain email communications relating to your use of our Site, service announcements, notices of changes to this Privacy Policy or our other terms, or similar administrative or transactional messages, and these transactional account messages may be unaffected if you choose to opt-out from e-mail marketing communications.
If you sign up to receive SMS or MMS or RCS messages that may be offered on the Site or app, you may unsubscribe by replying “STOP.” If you have accepted push notifications through our mobile application, you can also turn off push notifications in your device settings.
LEGAL INFORMATION
Controller and representative: The controller for the purpose of the processing of your Personal Information is: (i) for customers based in the UK – Instant Brands (EMEA) Limited; and (ii) for customers based in the EEA – Instant Brands (Ireland) Limited.

Instant Pot does not collect or process sensitive personal information.

Depending on where you are located, such as states and countries, and subject to any restrictions and conditions under applicable law, you may be entitled to exercise the rights described in this section. Depending on the jurisdiction in which you are based, you may have the right to request:
- that we disclose to you what Personal Information we collect, use, disclose, communicate and sell, including the right to request that we provide to you the categories and specific pieces of Personal Information we hold about you (“Right to Know”). Your request to exercise your privacy rights must provide enough information to allow us to verify you are the person about whom we collected Personal Information, or their authorized representative. You must also describe your request with enough detail so that we can understand, evaluate, and respond to it. We can’t respond to your request if we can’t verify your identity (or that you are someone authorized by the individual to act on their behalf). Making such a request does not require you to create an account with us, and we will only use the information you provide in a request to verify your identity and otherwise consider and respond to your request.
Agents
If you are an authorized representative submitting a request on a user’s behalf, please complete the applicable request in accordance with this section. We will follow up to request a written permission signed by the individual who is the subject of the request authorizing you to make the request on their behalf. The written permission must state your full legal name, the full legal name of the individual who is the subject of the request and needs to be clear about the permission granted.
Privacy Request Appeals
If you would like to appeal our decision relating to your request, you have the right to submit an appeal and can do so by emailing privacy@instantpot.com. Please include your full name, the basis for your appeal, and any additional information to consider.
DATA RETENTION
Instant Pot Brands retains all categories of Personal Information as long as reasonably necessary for each disclosed purpose outlined in this Privacy Policy. We store Personal Information for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or for which you subsequently authorize it to be used and otherwise to carry out the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless longer retention is permitted or required by applicable law.
Instant Pot Brands’ criteria for determining the period of time in which we will retain Personal Information also considers the time period reasonably necessary to: provide the Site and/or the app to you; exercise the choices and rights you have requested; comply with our contractual obligations; enforce our terms for use of the Site; and comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
To the extent allowed by applicable law, we reserve the right to change or modify this Privacy Policy in our discretion at any time. Instant Pot Brands will notify you of material changes by posting the changed or modified Privacy Policy on our Site or app. We may also provide notice to you in other ways in our discretion, such as through contact information you have provided. Any changes will be effective immediately upon the posting of the revised Privacy Policy unless otherwise specified. We will provide notice and obtain your consent to the new policy, which may be opt-in or opt-out consent, if required, or which may occur through your continued use of the Site to the fullest extent allowed by applicable law.
