Crab Cakes with Aioli

Crab Cakes

  • 60 ml mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 500 g crabmeat
  • 220 g fresh bread crumbs
  • 3 spring onions
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 60 ml chopped fresh parsley
  • Olive oil cooking spray

Easy Aioli

  • 60 ml mayonnaise
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • Lemon wedges


  1. In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, mustard, Worcestershire, salt and pepper.
  2. In a medium bowl, stir together crabmeat, bread crumbs, spring onions, bell pepper and parsley. Fold in mayonnaise mixture; mix well and shape into 8 patties.
  3. Select Air Fry and adjust the temperature to 200°C and set the time for 10 minutes then select Start. Preheat Vortex until display indicates Add Food.
  4. Whilst the crab cakes are cooking, make the aioli by combining all the aioli ingredients, then set to one side.
  5. When display indicates Turn Food, flip crab cakes over and continue to cook until golden.
  6. Serve with lemon wedges and Easy Aioli.
