  • 125 g plain flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 350 g plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1 tbsp Water


  1. Toppings like sesame seeds and/or mixed herbs seasoning
  2. In a large bowl, mix the flour, baking powder and salt. Add yogurt and mix until a doughball forms.
  3. Turn out dough onto a lightly floured surface and divide evenly into 4 balls.
  4. Roll each ball into a 7-8” rope and join ends to form a bagel shape.
  5. In a small bowl, combine beaten egg and 1 tbsp water. Brush over the tops and sides of the bagels.
  6. Generously sprinkle toppings onto bagel tops, pressing lightly to adhere.
  7. Select the Air Fry function and adjust the temperature to 165°C degrees and the time to 12 minutes, then touch Start.
  8. When the display indicates “Add Food” place the bagels carefully into the frying chamber leaving space between them.
  9. Ignore when the display indicates “Turn Food” and let the Air Fry programme finish.
  10. For the last couple of minutes, open the frying chamber occasionally to check the bagels, and remove when they are a rich golden brown. Serve warm.
